The Little Green Fingers Gang
Wednesdays 1pm – 2.30pm
This Group is for children aged 0-4 years and their family. Each week there is Fun craft, physical, imaginary play and singing in our spacious Hall. During the summer months and warmer weather children can also explore our community garden and learn about the environment through play and fun activities.
There is a small charge of £1 for the first child and 50p for additional siblings, this includes refreshments.
Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

One YOU Lifestyle Service are here to support you to have a happy, healthy lifestyle. One YOU can support you with a range of different issues including healthy eating, exercise, quitting smoking, alcohol or drug issues, sexual health, stress, emotional wellbeing and advice on local services. Every Wednesday, here at Bechange we will have a One You Lifestyle Adviser providing free weekly drop-in sessions welcome to all of the public or call Lizzie on 07800535541 to make an appointment
Maths Functional Skills Level 1 &2
A friendly and relaxed course which aims to build your confidence in everyday maths. Facilitated by East Kent College, the groups are small and friendly and cover entry level to level 2 Maths. The course runs term time only, sessions are weekly and run for two hours. This course runs every Tuesday 9.30-11.30am. English Entry Level, Level 1 and Level 2
A friendly and relaxed course which aims to build your confidence in English and give the skills that are needed in everyday life. Facilitated by East Kent College, the groups are small and friendly and cover entry level 1, 2 and 3 and level 1 and level 2 which is the equivalent of a GCSE . Courses cover the three elements of English, speaking, listening and Reading and writing. This allows you to move at a pace that is suitable for you. The course runs term time only, sessions are weekly and run for two hours. Solihull Parenting Programme
The Solihull Programme is intended for parents and carers with young children who want to know more about sensitive and effective parenting. This special programme teams together the solihull parenting course with baby massage and sensory play. Empowering parents to build on their own skills, develop ways to sensitively approach behavior management and solve difficulties in the future. Sessions cover topics like tuning into your child’s developmental needs; self regulation and anger; how are you and your child feeling; communication and the parent and child relations. The course is run by Bechange support workers who have been trained to deliver this programme. STARTED Thursday 26th April 2018-28th June 2018. Introduction to Customer Service
This course will provide an introduction to skills and personal qualities required for careers and job opportunities within the customer services sector. You need to be 19 or over to attend this course. The course is facilitated by Response Adult Education and is free to those on a low wage or unemployed. The course runs for two sessions of three hours, on the 10th and 17th of November 10m-1pm. Food Hygiene Level 2
An opportunity to gain an accredited qualification covering food safety. The course is free and facilitated by Response Kent Adult Education and is ideal for those wishing to work in catering or in an environment where there is food. Level 1 covers serving food and can be followed by level 2 which covers preparing food safely. Response Kent Adult Education require participants of this course to be 19 or over, be unemployed or on a low income. We currently have this course running on Wednesday 9th May 9.30am-5pm. Lunch will be provided and ID must be brought on the day. Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) Level 2 Safety Training
An opportunity to gain an accredited qualification, this half day course takes place in October (four and half hours). This qualification is designed for those who want to understand using substances hazardous to health at work. Relevant in many industries including Hairdressing and Beauty, Cleaning and Maintenance, Engineering and Printing. It introduces learners to substances, the risks and controls available and outlines what to expect from a control of substances to health (COSHH) assessment. Response Kent Adult Education require participants of this course to be 19 or over, be unemployed or on a low income.
